Nimkish Korma curry

Makes: 1 kg chicken/mutton

Ingredients Required:

1 kg mutton / chicken

200g yogurt (plain curd)

1 cup water

200g cream/malai


Marinate 1 kg meat (mutton/chicken) with 200g yogurt (plain curd) and 50g Nimkish Korma Masala. Refrigerate for 15 minutes. In a kadai / pan, heat 4 tbsp oil and add the marinated meat. Cook on low heat until the water dries and oil separates. Now add 1 cup water and cook on medium heat until the meat is tender. Add 200g cream/malai and let it simmer till the gravy thickens. Serve with rice, naan or chapatti.

Note – For mutton, pre-cook the marinated meat in a pressure cooker for 8-10 minutes on low heat after the first whistle.
