Makes: 1 kg chicken

4 tbsp butter
Make shallow diagonal cuts on 1 kg chicken pieces. Mix the chicken pieces with 4 tbsp oil and 50g Nimkish Lemon Herb Chicken Masala. Allow to marinate for 2 hours or refrigerate overnight. In a pan/kadai, heat 2 tablespoon oil and 4 tablespoon butter. Add the marinated chicken pieces and sauté on low flame until oil separates. Now, add 1 cup (300 ml) water and let it simmer for 8-10 minutes until chicken is tender.
Add 100g beaten cream/malai and continue stirring till the gravy boils. Let it simmer for 4-5 minutes until gravy is thick. Slit few pieces of green chilli in half and use as garnish. Serve hot with bread or roti.
For Dry Chicken – add ½ cup (150 ml) water and 50g beaten cream/malai and continue stirring till the gravy boils. Let it simmer for 4-5 minutes until chicken is tender and dry. Slit few pieces of green chilli in half and use as garnish.
