Makes: ½ kg fish
Ingredients Required:
500g fish
½ lemon
100g yogurt
3 tomatoes (200g)
1 cup coconut milk / 1 cup water
Recipe:
Rub ½ tsp salt and ½ lemon juice to 500g fish pieces. After 15 – 20 minutes gently wash the fish pieces and drain excess water. In a frying pan, heat 6 tbsp oil and shallow fry pieces for 5 minutes on medium heat. Drain the fish on absorbent kitchen paper and set aside. Heat 4 tbsp oil in a pan, add 30g Nimkish Goan Fish Curry Masala, 100g yogurt, 3 (200g) crushed tomatoes and mix for 2 – 3 minutes. Add 1 cup coconut milk or 1 cup water and simmer for 5 minutes until you have desired consistency. (If using coconut milk then keep stirring till it boils). Now add fried fish pieces & simmer for another 2 minutes. Fish curry is ready to serve with rice or bread.
